　　大清亡国，公公（太监）们被解散出宫，一直以奴才身份生存的公公被逼重新学做寻常百姓，重新得到尊严、自由、自我价值后，公公如何以「常人」的身份活出自己一片天？

　　薛丁甲（陈豪 饰）和焦瑶（胡定欣 饰）结婚多年，共同养育着女儿薛思思（杨铠凝 饰），夫妻两人各自忙于事业，无暇顾及家庭及夫妻感情，随着时间的推移，整个家庭面临着巨大的危机。就在这个节骨眼上，一位名为妙妙（田蕊妮 饰）的保姆来到了薛家，担负起了照顾思思的职责。
　　没有人知道，妙妙的真实身份其实是薛家不久之前去世的宠物猫，她此番幻化成人，只为了报答薛家的养育之恩。在妙妙的帮助之下，薛丁甲攻克了工作中的难题，妙妙更是在误打误撞之中发现了一起针对薛丁甲的阴谋。一来二去之间，薛丁甲和妙妙之间渐渐产生了懵懂的情谊。

　　传说中天界住着一群精灵，他们就是守卫人间的屋神，亦即是俗称的“土地公公”。《精灵酒店》描述女精灵冬冬（陈松龄）下凡到人间的一段经历。她受命在一所陈旧酒店当屋神，借着她在酒店的所见所闻，令她开始明白人类的思想，与爱、恨、嗔、痴的感情。
　　这是部神话剧。先说有一个土地公（此为松松的前身）因没有尽到职责扑灭火灾，而被天上降罪受蒸发之刑消失，但不知什么原因，白发花甲的土地公受罚后反而变成了单纯可爱的小姑娘冬冬（松松）。此即由于天上总管的疏忽，原本到人间的100个精灵少了1个，于是就把从未受训过的冬冬悄悄地顶替，成了一间有着上百年历史酒店的看守精灵。冬冬下了凡界，但她什么都不懂，闹出了很多笑话。酒店原有一位看守精灵，因为他害怕冬冬下来了就必须退休（这意味着要被蒸发），因此他就千方百计的使冬冬犯错。不过，冬冬最后都化险为夷，并在相处了一段时间后，他们之间建立了一种亲密的师徒关系。并且最后大家都得到了真爱！
