　　时尚杂志《Elva》的总编辑戈碧（汪明荃 饰）是个霸道能干的女强人，不仅在工作上强横，在家里也是大权在握，儿子戈德（黄宗泽 饰）就在母亲的影响下长大，对母亲百依百顺，如今也进入了《Elva》工作。一日，戈碧出席某时装大师的丧礼时，不仅出尽风头，还在传媒面前批评女星Helen的衣着，令她十分难堪。丧礼过后戈碧回程途中因没扣安全带被为人热心却又十分冒失的女警丽敏（胡杏儿 饰）截查，强横的她寸步不让，由此对丽敏心生不满。一次《Elva》杂志社被人捣乱，丽敏前往调查时不小心打破了室内的名贵摆设，内心愧疚的丽敏趁晚上无人时偷入杂志社将新的摆设放回原处时邂逅了戈德，更对英俊的戈德一见钟情。
　　戈碧因为对Helen的批评引起了她的狂热影迷的不满，遭到了劫持，丽敏为了救人向对方宣称自己亦很痛恨戈碧，骗取对方信任后成功解救了戈碧。然而戈碧却因此还很在心。丽敏前往医院向戈碧道歉，戈碧对她不屑一顾。随后戈德对母亲对丽敏的做法感到不好意思，于是带她四出游玩，希望补偿一下。游玩中丽敏向戈德表白了自己的心迹，戈碧得知后要儿子想尽办法令丽敏知难而退……

　　本剧集承接第一部内容，自宋世杰（张达明饰）得罪了慈禧太后，宋世杰只能带着妻子白玲珑（郭蔼明饰）及儿子祖隐姓埋名，多年来东躲西藏。然而他爱抱打不平的脾气却丝毫未改，致使玲珑为其担心不已。后因孤女白小翠（姚乐怡饰）的出现，宋世杰身份被迫暴露，幸得恭亲王（李子雄饰）以免死金牌保命三年，从此成为朝庭御用大状，替百姓申冤。而赖三（黄子华饰）居然一跃从粗鄙的市井流氓变成了精明镇定的状师，与宋世杰斗智斗力，展开了一段段精彩纷呈的好戏。
　　由香港电视广播有限公司制作的32集清装电视剧《状王宋世杰2》，是《状王宋世杰》系列电视剧的第二辑。本剧集仍启用原班人马，由徐正康监制，张达明、黄子华、郭蔼明主演。

　　女孩们又回到了第二个系列节目中，在北爱不稳定的和平进程的背景下，用他们所有的老把戏来引导父母、派对、爱情兴趣和学校。

　　Plot of the series:

　　CW这一版根据1990年法国电影《尼基塔女郎》、1993年美国翻拍版电影《尼基塔：永不回头》及1997年由美国和加拿大联合制作的电视剧集《尼基塔女郎》改编而成。
