曾获奥斯卡提名的1976年的纪录片《风中人》描绘了伊朗游牧民族巴克特亚里人的大迁徙，哈贾尔在片中只是一个小姑娘，如今55岁的她依旧热爱纯粹的游牧生活，因而拒绝搬到城市，但是家庭纷争、气候变化、城市化进程等问题时刻困扰着她。新晋伊朗导演马尔扬·霍斯拉维以拍摄妇女形象和社会问题见长，她执导的多部优秀作品在阿姆斯特丹国际纪录片电影节、弗里堡国际电影节等节展入围或得奖，本片依旧是对女性面貌的挖掘，新旧影像跨越时空彼此呼应，发人深省。本片在本届上海国际电影节为世界首映。

The film reveals the mechanisms behind the weakening of democratic principles in the United States through evangelical fundamentalism. Religious groups and popular TV pastors proclaim the coming of the end of the world just as the Bible says. They see its origins in the coronavirus crisis, the unrest in the Middle East, and the potential development of LGBTQIA+ rights.
