《我的中国星》是湖北卫视2013年联合韩国CJ E&M公司打造的音乐励志真人秀节目，以韩国收视第一的节目《Super star K》为原型。这档为百姓打造的音乐励志真人秀节目，通过在全国的海选，诞生出国内新的音乐明星，通过激烈的评选比赛让最具实力、最具才艺的选手脱颖而出，站在万众瞩目的舞台上表演，同时，将为其打造成为电视剧、电影、音乐全方位发展的亚洲巨星。该节目于2013年7月7日（周日）晚22点在湖北卫视全球首播。

由李诞、杨迪、徐志胜与其他MC团组成新一届的“超开心见笑生”，每期飞行嘉宾根据嘉宾属性以不同身份进入节目，如插班生、隔壁校友、代课老师等。通过TALKING、主题游戏互动、盲盒舞台等综艺环节来进行单期相关剧宣主题的内容呈现。

国内首档影视剧主题曲OST为切入点的音乐竞演秀。节目以“影视剧原声音乐”为切入点，用大家耳熟能详的经典影视原声唤醒大众共同的时代记忆。节目集结深受各年龄段用户喜爱的OST原声歌手，以声动人、以情动心，通过多轮主题竞演，演绎一首首与时代共情的影视剧音乐作品，引发最广泛的情感共鸣。

The film reveals the mechanisms behind the weakening of democratic principles in the United States through evangelical fundamentalism. Religious groups and popular TV pastors proclaim the coming of the end of the world just as the Bible says. They see its origins in the coronavirus crisis, the unrest in the Middle East, and the potential development of LGBTQIA+ rights.
