　　《大路上》以我国实施东北地区等老工业基地振兴战略为背景，围绕沈阳国有企业为解决历史性难题奋勇改革为主线，细致刻画了沈阳老工业基地历代产业工人拼搏进取的优秀品质。剧中讲述了铁西区特大型国有工业企业在厂长徐光汉的带领下克服了工人下岗、企业亏损等不利因素，自主研发地走出了一条国企改革振兴的辉煌大路。而林静饰演的何素艳，在经历了下岗、母亲重病和丈夫工作难保等一系列困难后，仍能积极乐观地面对生活。
