　　韩家凤祥绸缎庄是当地小有名气的商铺，然而，真正打理凤祥的不是年迈的韩夫人，也不是嗜赌成性的大少爷韩仲泽，而一个名叫沈放的外姓之人。沈放是韩夫人二十年前收养的孤儿，虽然沈放对韩家忠心耿耿，但是，仍然被仲泽排挤，仲泽在韩夫人面前百般谗言，韩夫人对沈放渐起疑心。
　　沈放与韩府丫环程尔涵两情相悦。然而，仲泽却设计将尔涵娶为妻子。新婚之夜，得知实情的沈放欲与尔涵离开韩家，却在韩夫人的眼泪攻势下屈服，放弃了与尔涵的爱情。深觉受到背叛的尔涵，利用仲泽逼走了沈放，没想到沈放非但没有落迫，反而得贵人相助开起了龙祥绸缎庄。为了报复沈放的背叛，尔涵一再使诈，却都没能成功，一再躲让的沈放不得不反击，而他的一击却带给了凤祥致命的打击，尔涵面对如此结局，再难承受，失去心智疯了，沈放也死在了她的刀下，而仲泽纵是万般忏悔也难以挽回如此结局，一场错嫁落得个家破人亡。

　　The building is a universe whose ecosystem has specific dynamics and rules, and Eliseo knows them all by heart. There he lives, works and absorbs every detail of the life of its residents. 　　李准基饰演对权力内部者们下刀的律师奉尚必，他小时候亲眼目睹母亲惨死，之后因为悲愤而把为母亲报仇视为人生目的和绝对任务。
　　徐睿知饰演做任何事情非常有主导性有主见的夏在伊一角，本是律师，因为对法官暴行成为了事务长，成为了事务长以后和奉尚必相识，成为了事件的中心人物。
　　李慧英饰演法律界受人尊敬的“Mother特蕾莎” 车文淑， 虽然是个绝对女王的存在，但是她是个独吞各种权力，欲望和恶的化身的人物。她的面前出现了奉尚必，她开始动摇了。
　　崔民秀饰演对权力和欲望充满野心的财阀会长安武周一角，他隐藏着自己无耻的过去和极其恶劣的本色，是个十足的心机男。

　　杨仲德（郑少秋 饰）年逾四十，和妻子黄爱莲（陈秀雯 饰）结婚十七载，两人共同抚养着一双儿女，生活可谓是其乐融融。杨仲德为公司勤勤恳恳的工作了几十年，作为公司里的资深员工，此时本该放松一下，好好享受享受自己用早年的辛苦奋斗换来的悠闲时光，哪知道在这个节骨眼上，公司发生了巨大的人事变动，导致他地位不稳，时时都有遭到解雇的危险。
　　职场里遭遇了滑铁卢，杨仲德的婚姻也亮起了红灯。因为杨仲德总是将大部分的经历花费在工作上，导致他忽略了黄爱莲的感受，一怒之下，黄爱莲提出了要和丈夫分居。之后，黄爱莲在保险公司找到了一份工作，业务能力出众的她很快就引起了上司的注意，后者对黄爱莲展开了热烈的追求。

　　故事开始于70年代的北京。郭家的小儿子呱呱坠地，两个哥哥对他疼爱有加。然而，在一场意外中，大儿子失手将邻居杀害，因此面临了锒铛入狱的结局。出狱之后，老大的境遇并没有多少改善，一直在迷惘中度日，最终，他决定前往内蒙寻找自我。
　　老二以卖菜起家，之后又摆起了羊肉摊子，只要是能赚钱的生意他都有兴趣掺一脚，但是没什么经验和头脑的他却总是在钱上面吃亏。老三进入大学接受高等教育，毕业之后进入股票市场，在师傅的带领之下很快就走上了正轨，生意越做越好。老四有先天性的缺陷，却并没有气馁和放弃，而是不断的努力突破自我，最终找到了人生的价值。

　　「爱情三角错」主要描写一名现代女性，身处爱情、亲情、事业与家庭的挣扎中，如何努力向上的故事。故事女主角狄瑾（毛舜筠）自小与母亲遭到父亲的恶意遗弃，一直与母亲相依为命。年纪轻轻即嫁给一名沉默木讷的小儿科医生石子荣（温兆伦），但因年少气盛，无法深入欣赏子荣的内涵，因此执意离婚。
　　狄瑾另有一男友吕怀信（吴镇宇），信擅用心理攻势，使得狄瑾陶醉於物质与浪漫的迷情中。同时，狄瑾为母亲的好友谭媚（卢宛茵）经营饮食店，因而与其拍档（高雄）发展出一段恋情。
　　物质挂帅的社会中，难道细水长流的爱情，真的已不复见了吗？速食爱情取代了往日的爱情神话，真爱又将如何求得？

　　本剧为诗选类剧集，主创明确表示每季一个新故事。
　　第二季由来自《善地》的William Jackson Harper担任主演。Harper将饰演Marcus Watkins，刚和一个本以为会是自己真爱的女人，结束了一段多年的关系。突然爱情失意的他，重新开始寻找属于自己的另一半。
　　第一季回归客串的卡司有Anna Kendrick、Zoë Chao、Peter Vack和Nick Thune。
