　　1950年秋，新中国万象更新。某军第七侦察连连长伍千里回乡省亲。伍家长兄牺牲于淮海战役，尚有老三伍万里，顽劣失教，为害渔寨邻里。千里决定带他走正途当兵，兄弟归营，正赶上大军开拔抗美援朝战场。万里初来乍到，结识一群久经沙场的老兵，个个硬骨头真性情。渡过鸭绿江，适逢朝鲜百年不遇的寒冬。团部下令化整为零、潜伏穿插深入敌后。新兵万里初登战场，成了七连的拖累。万里和七连在一系列艰苦战斗中一起成长。机场大战中，七连识破美军伎俩，拯救整个兵团的同时，与主力部队失散。他们寻主力部队至水门桥。水门桥是能左右朝鲜战局的砝码，仅剩三十余人的七连，必须完成炸桥任务。“钢七连”以伟大的牺牲和强大的革命意志，完成了这个足以彪炳史册的壮举。千里牺牲，万里成长为一名有担当的战士，他将用余生践行对哥哥的承诺，重建“钢七连”。

　　李瑜美饰演短道速滑世界冠军车嘉艺一角，现在陷入了低谷之中。
