Follows the story of Abu Zubaydah, the first high-value detainee subjected to the CIA's program, later identified as torture by those outside the agency.

The film reveals the mechanisms behind the weakening of democratic principles in the United States through evangelical fundamentalism. Religious groups and popular TV pastors proclaim the coming of the end of the world just as the Bible says. They see its origins in the coronavirus crisis, the unrest in the Middle East, and the potential development of LGBTQIA+ rights.
