　　电视剧《生存密码》讲述了一场 突如其来的海难，将一个旅行团困在 了一座远离都市文明的荒岛上，七男 四女外加一个小孩都被迫困在荒岛莽 丛中绝境求生，紧缺的淡水和食物无 处不在的丛林险境不断地侵蚀着他们 生存的信念。然而更可怕还有来自于 人性的考验以及是“天灾”还是暗藏杀 机的“人祸”的悬疑阴谋让恐怖在丛林 间升温蔓延。

　　该剧基于作家Arturo Pérez-Reverte的畅销书《La Reina Del Sur》进而改编的。《南方女王》讲述关于女主Teresa Mendoza （Alice Braga饰）的故事，当他的毒贩男盆友在墨西哥意外被谋杀后，女主被迫逃到美国寻求庇护，她与过去的小伙伴一起共同反击杀害他男友并追杀她的贩毒集团头目，然而在这过程中，慢慢的她学会了贩毒行当的“知识”和“谋略”，并渐渐的成为贩毒集团新的老大。 Peter Gadiot饰演常规角色James Valdez，是Camila Vargas（Veronica Falcon饰）手下新崛起的人物，对毒品世界十分了解。尽管他会对反抗他的人施加严厉的惩罚，但Teresa发现他其实很有自己一套正义感，然后他成为Teresa在美国的重要同盟。Carlos Gomez饰演一个整季的循环角色Javier Acosta，是个在哥伦比亚能发号施令的毒枭。
