该剧讲述了蔡伯喈新婚后被逼赴考高中状元，入赘牛府，家乡遭旱灾，妻子赵五娘历尽艰辛上京寻夫，却惊闻噩耗的故事。

　　在20世纪90年代中期我国陆军狼牙特战基地。大队长（侯勇 饰）向孤狼特别突击队员交代一项任务，是收回坠落在我国边境上的一枚卫星残骸。在我边境内孤狼队员们和寻找我国卫星的境外敌人交上了火，无奈境外敌军退出我国境内。孤狼们很快找到了卫星残骸，不料境外敌军也随后跟来，这时还是联络不上狼穴，猎鹰(吴京 饰）)击中一名敌军阻击手，天雷（周慧林 饰）跑去查看，假死的敌人炸伤了天雷的腿，猎鹰为了掩护天雷被敌军射中应声倒下。
　　十几年后，猎鹰何卫东的儿子何晨光(吴京 饰）作为一名全国青少年武术冠军继承父业参军入伍。和他一起入伍的还有跟自己不打不相识的街头混混王艳兵（徐佳 饰），朴实的农村小伙李二牛（赵荀 饰）。3人经过重重考验变成了名列前茅的好兄弟，但是要成为优秀的特种兵，前方的路还很长。

　　东江港公安局局长江河临危受命为东江港港务局局长兼党委书记。上任第二天，东江港客运站的裕泰号客轮突然遭遇船沉江底的事故，东江港的重要合作伙伴——琊山煤矿总会计师方秋萍神秘失踪。善后工作疑云密布，险象丛生。之后，江河率领港口上下众志成城，不仅战胜了特大洪水的自然灾害，而且大刀阔斧实行改革，东江港在上海证券交易所敲响上市的钟声，收购A国R港获得成功，积极促进“一带一路”国际合作，标志着东江港驶入了建设世界一流港口的快车道。

　　《雷神3》导演塔伊加·维迪提的成名作《吸血鬼生活》推出衍生剧集《惠灵顿灵异档案》(Wellington Paranormal)，该剧终于发布了首个预告。7月11日在新西兰电视台TVNZ 2播出。继承了《吸血鬼生活》一本正经地讲“灵异”风格，也是伪纪录片形式，讲述一群惠灵顿的警察探索突然出现的丧尸等灵异生命横行的情况，Marko警官得意地展示他的灵异档案。
