　　CBS宣布续订《东邻西舍》第四季，《东邻西舍》的平均收视率超过0.8（直播+当日收视），总收视人数为580万(仅次于《小谢尔顿》)，成为了CBS收视率最高的喜剧。
　　Season-to-date, The Neighborhood is averaging higher than a 0.8 demo rating (in Live+Same Day numbers), making it CBS’ top-rated comedy, and 5.8 million total viewers (trailing only Young Sheldon).

　　面对男子气概危机，四个好友努力在变化万千的世界坚守立场，同时维系感情和事业。

　　剧情延续上季时间线，吉米的哥哥查克（迈克尔·麦基恩饰）悄悄录下吉米（鲍勃·奥登科克饰）承认在法律文件上做手脚的不当行为，想毁掉弟弟的律师前程 ，两兄弟的对峙促使本性善良的吉米更进一步转变为游走在法律边缘的无良律师“索尔·古德曼”

 故事发生在1984年，马东（胡军 饰）是一名国安侦察员，他被派往军工202厂，潜伏在此处保证“蓝鱼”号核潜艇的研制顺利进行，与此同时，一帮邪恶的外国势力正在虎视眈眈的企图得到核潜艇的机密图纸，而他们所派出的间谍亦藏身于202厂之中。 在202厂，马东结识了好友陈其乾（赵立新 饰），以及厂花冯书雅（左小青 饰），陈其乾一直在追求冯书雅，而随着时间的推移，冯书雅渐渐爱上了正直可靠的马东。然而，马东的特殊身份让他不能够坦白自己对于冯书雅的感情，在误会之中，冯书雅负气嫁给了陈其乾，此时她并不知道的是，陈其乾收件人所害，已经被迫成为了敌方势力的棋子。

　　李慧慧（蔡少芬 饰）是某保险公司的高级经理，以现代女性自居的慧慧每天都要争取保单业绩一创高峰，总跟公司里的死对头罗密欧（魏俊杰 饰）明争暗斗。上司梁仲文对慧慧事业上有很多的帮助，同事都认为仲文喜欢慧慧，虽然慧慧极口否认，但心中还是无端欢喜起来。仲文果然对慧慧有意思，但仲文飞禽大咬的行为吓怕了慧慧，使慧慧落荒而逃。
　　此时，探员莫作栋（黄子华 饰）却找上了慧慧，原来仲文当天死于酒店内，慧慧是仲文最后见过的人，也是他的下属在公司关系也密切，所以慧慧成了最大的嫌疑人。就算查出了慧慧并不是凶手，但莫作栋仍然死缠烂打希望能通过慧慧得到更多资料以查出真相，使慧慧困扰不已。莫作栋也不喜欢慧慧的高傲个性，二人成为了一对欢喜冤家。
　　而也因为这宗命案，他们的生活有了一次又一次的交集，一起面对一次一次棘手的案件，发生不少笑料，没想到的是两人之间情愫暗生了……

　　高伟（邓一君 饰）本是前途无量的预科生，哪知道父亲的外遇对象彭小红（雪梨 饰）忽然出现要争名分争家产，在一场意外之中，高伟和彭小红之间爆发了矛盾，最终高伟锒铛入狱，曾经的美好梦想都不复存在。

　　故事紧随着大毒枭巴勃罗·埃斯科巴的死亡之后，缉毒局将目标转向强大的卡利集团，虽然毒品市场在美国以及其他地方的不断壮大，出人意料的是卡利集团的领导人Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela 宣布在6个月后放弃可卡因业务，专注于合法商业利益。而该决定在卡利集团内部引起了不同的反应。

　　Plot of the series:

　　礼信非常关心文初是否能医治声带，想尽办法帮忙寻找医生。文初再次遇到了生母，但是在母子相认之后，生母却选择了给文初假地址再次离开。这时，文初与礼信都发现了自己爱上了君好，文初希望君好得到幸福而主动退出了三角关系。文初得到了礼信介绍医生的治疗下能恢复说话的能力后继续与娇生活。而娇为了君好的前程，故意一反常态，希望君好能离开自己……
