　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. Her fame spread not only to neighboring countries, but throughout Europe. Such a nickname as “Great” was assigned to her by the high society of Europe, thanks to the efforts of the influential Princess Dashkova, who was always devoted to Catherine II.
　　Upon returning from abroad, Catherine II is helped by the ruler’s main associate, Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova. Meanwhile, her husband mentioned in the series, Prince Grigory Alexandrovich Potemkin, remaining in second place in the State, is no longer her favorite. New favorites appear one after another, but they are all under the close supervision of Potemkin. None of the new favorites can maintain their position for long. 　　《豪斯医生 House》主创David Shore联同Daniel Dae Kim开发ABC医务剧《好医生 The Good Doctor》，根据韩剧所改篇的《好医生》由David Shore编剧，讲述一个年轻﹑有学者症候群（在某种艺术或学术上有超乎常人的能力， 有10%自闭症患者有这种症候群）的外科医生Shaun Murphy加入了一间著名医院San Jose St. Bonaventure，这令所有人都起了这疑问：一个没法和常人建立关系的医生，真的能治疗患者？

　　Steven Zaillian会负责首季大部份集的编剧及导演工作，该剧会采用《The Talented Mrs. Ripley》﹑《Ripley Under Ground》﹑《Ripley’s Game》﹑《The Boy Who Followed Ripley》﹑《Ripley Underwater》五部小说的内容，讲述Tom Ripley如何由一名骗徒成为连环杀手的心路历程。
　　剧集版背景为60年代的纽约，Tom Ripley（Andrew Scott饰）被一个富豪招募，让他到意大利说服富豪的浪子回家。然而这次旅程成为了Tom Ripley走进各种欺骗﹑欺诈及谋杀的第一步。
　　Tom Ripley这角色最出名是改编电影《天才瑞普利 The Talented Mr. Ripley》中的形象，当时由Matt Damon饰演此角。
