　　马丁·弗瑞曼和黛西·海格达主演育儿轻喜剧，讲述保罗和艾莉是一对恩爱夫妇，他们有两个孩子。两人既要忙于工作，又要照顾孩子，他们的中年生活被各种琐事和麻烦围绕。

　　一部视角独特的罪案调查剧——一般的罪案调查剧要到每一集结尾才会揭晓罪犯的真实身份，但本剧每集一开始就会把受害人的身份和凶手的身份全都告诉观众。它并不以「谁干的」为看点，而是强调「为什么」。温哥华警察局命案侦探Angie Flynn（Kristin Lehman）每天都要面对「为什么」，她必须一点一点地拼凑一起案件中所有的相关线索——凶手和受害人因为什么而相关？凶手的作案动机是什么？观众将跟随Angie和她的调查组解开一个个谜团。

　　少年高哲（刘松仁 饰）的父母死于一栋工厂大厦的一次火灾，痛不欲生的他无意中得知原来此次火灾乃城中巨富赵经琛为了低价买下该栋大厦再进行改建的一个阴谋。高哲苦无证据诉诸法律无望后，决定自己代替警察惩治赵经琛。最终赵经琛在高哲的枪口下痛哭流涕，发誓改过，从此以后他果然成了一个乐善好施的大好人。高哲从此找到了自己人生的道路，那就是将恶人们都不义之财劫回来，捐赠给所有有需要的人。
　　高哲救了或收留了一班落难的技术精英，包括潜入学校系统偷试卷而被开除的表弟BT（李思捷 饰）、神枪手小明星长脚蟹、开锁高手Keyman和车神姣佬。他们组成了一个行动小组，屡屡得手。正直神勇的干探江扬（马德钟 饰）因调查5年前他师傅被匪徒枪击致死一案而追踪到了高哲身上，虽被江扬率领的一宗警察纠缠，但高哲对他的为人和行事十分欣赏。于此同时，赵经琛的儿子赵君豪亦是一个专门走歪道赚钱的奸商，高哲和他展开了一系列斗志斗勇的争斗！
