　　本故事讲述了顺喜（史元庭 饰）在一次次白事委托中，渐渐成长为一名优秀的白事先生。他也终于明白了身为白事先生的真正意义，为逝者哀悼，让生者释怀。故事聚焦殡葬题材，生老病死乃人之常情，白事是对死者最后关怀，于其本人与家属而言都意义非凡。白事先生自古有之，又称白事知宾，就是丧事上负责主持传统礼节的主持人。无论是古时还是现在，白事先生都极其重要，他能引导生者去如何更好的送走死者，给予死者最后的尊荣，让逝者体面地走完人生的最后一程，同时引导生者站在死亡的终点，去感受生命之重，重新思考人生的意义。
