マンガアプリ「GANMA!」で好評連載中の頭脳アクション作品『多数欠』（漫画：宮川大河）。本作のアニメ化プロジェクトがクラウドファンディングサイト「CAMPFIRE」で始動した。目標金額を800万円に設定し、達成の暁には制作が決定。また、梶裕貴さんナレーションによる期間限定PVが制作中となっており、達成時には完成版のアニメーションを含めたオープニングを約1分30秒と本編約4分、計5分を超えるショートアニメーションを観ることができる。ストーリーは第三部『多数欠 -Judgement Assizes-』を基にした、渋谷を舞台とする完全オリジナルエピソードとなる。

A group of homeless misfits must fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.

 The new season returns to Larvik on a seemingly idyllic summer evening at the Greenwood family. But the following morning, a hotel employee is found murdered, and a six-year-old British boy, Clifford Greenwood, has disappeared without a trace. The family receives a ransom demand and cryptic messages from the kidnapper, and when family secrets are revealed, Wisting suspects that there may be a personal motive behind the disappearance. There is also enormous international pressure on Wisting and the team to solve the murder and find the boy before it is too late.
