《开播吧！》短剧季是由喜芽文化&东方卫视出品的国内首档短剧工P孵化真人秀，节目预计将于2025年Q4播出！本季节目将围绕“选拔东方卫视短剧厂牌演员” 来设置赛制，将有40名演员参与节目竞演。演员们通过试镜、展演等考核环节争夺片约，进行赛段主题PK。最终节目完成剧综联动的目的。

The episodes — “Democracy,” “Race,” “Music,” “Capitalism,” “Fear,” and “Justice” — are adapted from essays from The New York Times No. 1 bestselling “The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story” and examine how the legacy of slavery shapes different aspects of contemporary American life.
The doc is 500 Days in the Wild, which will launch in the fall. It follows filmmaker Whelan, who ecorded a solo self-recorded journey travelling across Canada in 2015 after feeling disillusioned with the state of the world.
